Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

This is a working draft. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before SHAKKY's public launch.

This page explains how shakky.gg uses cookies and similar local storage. We keep this to a minimum: there is no advertising and no cross-site tracking.

What this site stores

Theme preference (light or dark), stored in your browser's local storage
Language preference, remembered so we can send you to /en or /fr
Strictly necessary items your browser needs to load pages securely

These are set on your device only. They are not shared with third parties and are not used to identify you.

Arcade and bot

Shakky Arcade runs on its own subdomain and may use local storage to keep you in a game session. Shakky Bot runs inside Discord and does not set cookies in your browser. See the Privacy Policy for the data those products process.

Managing cookies

You can clear local storage and cookies from your browser settings at any time. Doing so simply resets your theme and language preferences.

Changes

If we ever add analytics or other non-essential storage, we will update this page and ask for consent where required before enabling it.
